Lab Calc is an app that is capable of performing a handful of calculations commonly used in research laboratories in the biological and chemical sciences.
The current capabilities of Lab Calc include the following:1.) Concentration calculations: - Determine mass given concentration and volume information - Determine molarity given mass and volume information - Determine volume given mass and concentration information
2.) Percent solutions calculations: - Determine solute mass needed for a desired Weight/Volume % (w/v) solution - Determine solute volume needed for a desired Volume/Volume % (v/v) solution - Determine solute mass needed for a desired Weight/Weight% (w/w) solution
3.) Stock dilution calculations: - Calculate the volume needed to dilute a stock solution to a desired concentration and volume
4.) Unit conversion calculations: - Concentration unit conversions - Volume unit conversions - Mass unit conversions - Formula weight unit conversion
